The objective of this experience is to provoke a critical and conscious interest among the participants about the importance that water has, both in human evolution as well as in the social and personal daily life, through the analysis of some meanings that water has had in its relationship with Western artistic creation.
The subject of water as a symbolic element, the domain and humanist admiration of water; water as an artistic and urban scenario; water as a critical theme in urban art; water as an element to highlight political-ecological issues; water as a material in contemporary art and water as an element and natural, economic and political disaster seen through the photographs of the Houston flood as a result of Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
